Our story began with the Glina factory, the heritage of the largest meat preparation and canning enterprise in Bucharest, renowned since the 1970s. In 2000, we acquired the assets of the semi-preserves section of S.C. Glina S.A. and began producing meat cans under the Mandy brand.
With over 20 years of experience, the MORAD FOODS Group is now a significant player in the Romanian food market.

Even from the beginning, Mandy introduced something new to the Romanian food market: exclusively plant-based products. Today, Mandy is a leader in the category of spreadable vegetable appetizers, offering a wide range of delicious products for all the tastes.
In 2022, we also added the Topoloveni vegetable and fruit canning factory to our portfolio, alongside other renowned brands.
No meal is complete without dessert. Once MGC Topoloveni and the brands Bunătăți de Topoloveni and Spring acquired, MORAD FOODS has strengthened its position in the traditional food segment, offering jams and preserves, canned fruits and vegetables, ready-to-eat meals, sauces, and many other delights.
In 2023, Morad Foods bought Prefera, adding the brands Capricii și Delicii, De Azi, and Atelier Mediaș to its portfolio.
As a result, Morad Foods has become one of the largest players in the food industry in Romania, an incontestable leader in the categories of vegetable appetizers and zacuscă.
